Our first stop west is just three or four hours away from home in Indianapolis, Indiana. Originally when we designed our route and put it to a calendar, we had only planned a 1-night stop over in Indy. But then several people said, "You have to go the the
Children's Museum when you go to Indianapolis." So we decided to do just that.
I have to say we were not disappointed. The kids loved it and it was a great way to start the trip. Thanks for the tip guys!

Inside the museum, there was something for everyone. They had dinosaurs, a planetarium, special exhibits on Barbie, Egypt, Chihuly glass and a science area where we sat in on a demonstration of mummification. Lots of stuff to see and do.
