St. Louis, Missouri

Our first stop in St. Louis was the Anheuser-Busch Brewery tour. I have to say, that although I wanted to go on this tour, I really didn't expect much. However, the tour was awesome and the building and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The kids even enjoyed it (except the smell). Here are some pics but they really don't do it justice:

Andrew & Kaitlyn at the Anhueser-Busch brewery.
The Clydesdales were absolutely beautiful.
The buildings are gorgeous, inside and out.
In 1916, the Bevo Fox was chose to represent Anheuser-Busch’s non-alcoholic Prohibition-era beverage called Bevo. This guy sits on the corner of one of the buildings. I think what impressed me so much was the history that was found in this brewery. A-B seems to respect where they came from while incorporating where they are going, too.

Another cool thing about the brewery tour...free samples at the end. The kids drank pop while we sampled a few things from the A-B line. Free pretzels too. We had to cut Andrew off after he spilled his Sierra Mist though.

Next, we headed to the St. Louis Gateway Arch. It took forever to get up there and then we only stayed five minutes and had to wait to get down again. Other than that it was fine.

In the pod, on the way up to the Arch.
Yep, looks like what we saw on the way in, only smaller.
The Arch.
